Thanks to everyone for making this such a great trip! Special thanks to the parents who kept an extra set of eyes on everyone, to our expert guide Silke, and of course, to our intrepid leader Frau Alexander.
Auf wiedersehen!

Heidelberg
Heidelberg is the home of one of the oldest universities in Europe. Several of our kids now plan to enroll when they get out of HS. The castle is in ruins, victim of several wars and a lightening strike.
This is our last stop- (sob). I miss everyone already!
Medieval Rothenburg
Unlike most of Germany, Rothenburg avoided destruction during WWII. It got its pillaging and looting out of the way during the 30 Years War, leaving the town stuck in the Middle Ages. Now it's visited by middle aged tourists- and the occasional mob of Georgians.
Medieval Rothenburg
The Nightwatchman
Rothenburg is guarded by the Nightwatchman, a man who keeps evil foes out of Rothenburg. He made an exception for us, as long as we promised to go shopping and spend many Euros.
The pork and sausage museum. Eating has definitely been a pigapalooza.
What I really want as a souvenir
BMW stands for Bavarian Motor Works, and any of these cars would work for me.
