Evening in Munich

After dodging a brief shower, our group joined the fashionable people of Munich for an evening stroll.  We fit right in, of course.

At the famous Hofbrau House.  Two minutes was all we needed!

Nuremberg

In the 1930's, the Nazi party developed Nuremberg as party central.  A huge facility was built to host gatherings, and plans were made to build a stadium seating up to 400,000 people.  The museum at the documentation center does a great job of explaining the rise and fall of Nazism.  For the first time we actually had to chase kids out of a museum.

The incomplete Party Hall and some random kids.

Nuremberg is also a lovely town, rebuilt after WWII.  The artist Albrecht Durer lived here, and CCHS has an exchange program with a gymnasium here.

Food, glorious food: Part zwei

Eating might be what we do best.
